
Raqs wa Bes: Egyptian dance is a dynamic 12 week series for women to connect with their bodies—through Egyptian movement and music.
You’ll leave class feeling more grounded, reinvigorated begin to embody Egyptian dance technique.
Each week, we spotlight a song by a beloved Egyptian singer or composer—from Oum Kalthoum to Ahmed Adaweya.
Class includes a technique-based theme; we shake off stress and reconnect with our bodies—through music and motion.
In each session, you’ll enjoy:
Egyptian dance technique
Culturally appropriate movements and styling according to musical genres
A welcoming space for self-expression and community
Cultural connection through the voices of Egypt’s beloved singers
Nervous system restoration practice to close class

About Nicole
Nicole has been studying, teaching and performing Egyptian dance for over 20 years. She combines her love of dance with specialized training in Restore Your Core® method and Mat Pilates to help women build strength, awareness, and confidence from the inside, out.
