Embodied and functional core and pelvic floor centered movement for every woman

I help women strengthen and connect to their core and pelvic floor through Restore Your Core ® methods, Egyptian dance & mat Pilates.
I work with these modalities to help you tune into your body so you can move with confidence, awareness and even joy!

Restore Your Core ® draws on whole body exercises of yoga, pilates and functional movement to help you heal from core and pelvic floor issues, move better and feel stronger.
You'll gain core and pelvic floor function and build strength as you move!

Egyptian bellydance is a culturally rooted, fun and sensual way to gain pelvic floor and core strength, mobility and awareness while enjoying your body and the music!

Mat Pilates is a uses body weight resistance to develop core strength, body awareness and stability, focusing on deep postural muscles.

About Nicole


Hi! I'm Nicole Macotsis - a mom of two kids and a dog, living and working in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY on the unceded land of the Lenape.
Movement is what gets me through all the days- from unpredictable and stressful to days when I'm worn out from parenting or the state of the world. 
I want to offer the joy and resilience of movement to you!  I love coming home to my body through exercise or dance, and feeling stronger and more present.
I’m a white American of Greek decent and have been dancing Egyptian bellydance since 1999.  Not only is it a means of learning Egyptian and Arab culture, but is a joyful way of relating to our bodies. 
Since becoming a mom, my go-tos of pilates and dance alone weren't resolving issues that two pregnancies had emphasized.  I had a diastsis recti (ab separation) and felt disconnected from my core and pelvic floor.  
After trying several programs, I found Restore Your Core (RYC)®.  I finally felt at home in my body, became aware of unhelpful patterns and began to resolve ongoing issues.  RYC® also gave me a great foundation and confidence for strength training!
I became an RYC ® teacher in 2021 to share this knowledge with others, and combine it with my teaching of Egyptian Dance. In 2024 I was certified in Mat Pilates by the Kane School- to incorporate a practice I've done for decades into my teaching.
I can't wait for you to join me in your journey in building strength, awareness and feeling at home in your body.
